CURRENT CASE STATUS

A Settlement has been proposed in a class action lawsuit that alleges that Airborne Health, Inc. (and other defendants) (“Airborne”) falsely advertised certain therapeutic properties, including the ability to cure or prevent the common cold, when marketing products under the Airborne brand name, as listed below. Defendants deny any wrongdoing or illegal conduct but have agreed to settle the litigation.

Which means this for any of you:

Airborne Health, Inc has agreed to refund up to 6 boxes of Airborne products at up to $6.99 each to anyone who purchased their product, EVEN IF you don't have proof of purchase. (You can claim more if you have proof of purchase). The purchase(s) must have been made before November 29th.

You can file a claim online here.

I saw this on the local news.   If people seriously believed that what basically amounts to a Flintstones vitamin that fizzes in water cures colds and miraculously aids the human immune system against contracting airborne contagens then maybe they deserve to be swindled out of forty bucks.  In reality you would get more vitamins and health benefits  with a glass of orange juice and a good nights sleep.  As terrible as the falsified claims are, If they listed the ingredients then buyer beware.

A friend of mine SWEARS by this stuff for some reason, so she convinced me to take some before I went on vacation because I was afraid of catching a sickness from everyone else in my family.

I got sick anyway. Shoulda known.

But, despite that, I still filed a claim on the website... I guess they send you a check for your reimbursement.

I'm not suggesting anything........
 Speedy Wink

But, if you want facts, then the answer is YES. You technically could apply for a rebate and get free cash, even if you had not purchased Airborne. But, I'm not suggesting that you should.
