Another post about KNT in the latest Tenko's blog entry.

He said:
If “Teyandee” had been aired 1 or 2 years later, perhaps it got help of the big boom of claw vending machine of that time, and many fancy items could be released. I think I said this once already. Not the robot-like toys, but I preferred a plush or something alike toys.

I posted a comment to him, showing this post by LadyFlame, when she presented her SPC plushies.

... Although... It would've given the writers a good chance to make an episode, showing how evil the Claw Vending Machines truly were.
I can see it now... The Big Cheese's "Caw Vending Machines" full of useless merchandise that... Makes people want to get more useless merchandise!

My brother was always good at getting stuff from claw machines.

The Pizza Cats end up not needing to do much of anything because Big Cheese's plan backfires on him when the Ninja Crows realize the machines are full of shinies and spend all their time trying to win prizes instead of fighting the cats. They do, however, have to prevent Bad Bird Good Bird their fellow crow friend from giving in to the mass merchandise madness. When the robot explodes, the crow-d scrambles to claim the goods.

On a related note, one of the things I've found interesting in my Japanese studies is that there's two separate words for "cold": "samui" for weather or atmosphere and "tsumetai" for something that's cold to the touch, like ice.

am I right about this?
japanese for wind is kaze...but when you got a cold you also have a "kaze"

A simplistic Otama/Francine drawing. Tenko has drawn Koon-no-kami/Big Cheese, Karamaru/Bad Bird, Itumo no oyako/mom and son and Yattarou/Speedy in a similar style. I asked to him to draw Usahime/Vi next time.

Wow, with the exception of Koon I haven't seen the simplistic drawings that you mentiones; I'd love to see the pic with Itsumo no Oyako...

Despite that, if I didn't draw new material, world stops.
Owing to that, I don't want spent any time thinking in something else, and I drew exactly as requested.
Despite it looks like simple to the eyes, it does not mean is simpler to draw.
The former creepy Saint Claus girl took shorter time.

I definitely understand Tenko's comment about drawings that look simple not necessarily being simple to draw. I know from personal experience.

Nice to see a new KNT character posted in Tenko's blog.

Sadly I can't see what it has been written, because I'm just travelling, and in this Internet cafe shop the computers can't display Japanese characters.

Today Tenko has drawn in a similar manner of other characters he did early. She is posing showing her tail.

One thing intrigues me, Tenko did mention in his blog entry that he found in the Amazon.co.jp a western language book entitled "Samurai Pizza Cats".  Moreover he commented that the book is very expensive (about 7500 yen).

I searched about that book in the web, but the only thing I got is this link. Doesn't appear to be something we fans are looking for, the cover is unrelated to the TV series. The book looks fake, but could be this possible in Amazon site?
