Since this is one of my fave ep’s, I thought I’d write my first review.

This is the horror episode of the series! There’s a ghosty haunting the Palace and Princess Vi is thrilled. She wants to see it. During the night, Speedy is sent to deliver pizza and check things out. In doing so he's forced to become Princess Vi’s escort (a concept he finds quite amusing), and the two of them are thrown together in a number of humorous situations. Eventually it becomes clear the ghost is a robot (duh!), though the Big Cheese manages to disguise his scheme as plans to build an underground amusement park.

The stars of this one are Speedy and Princess Vi. They make a hilarious duo, I love Speedy/Vi. The Big Cheese gets an honourable mention for making another appearance in the infamous green cheerleading outfit! Which he wears secretly at night (lol!).

Other highlights: The Big Cheese and Speedy sharing a smooch, and Guido forgetting Speedy’s energy pack.

Four stars out of five ****

I love this ep too!  Does anyone but me feel like humming the Indiana Jones theme when Speedy and Vi are running away from the boulder? Grin

Also, (sorry louiecat) but I feel this ep has a bit of Speedy/Polly in it. The most obvious is when she bangs Guido over the head with the frying pan when he says a bad joke about Speedy, and also she's the one who kneels next to him and asks if he's OK, affectionately calling him 'Kiddo', while Guido can't even be depended on to bring a spare pack! (some friend!)

Of course I think the best part is when ya see Guido and Polly (ESPECIALLY Polly) fighting the Ninja Crows hand-to-hand. Action Girl Polly, gotta love her!
No Disney Princess, that's for sure!

It didn't suprise me that Guido didn't bring a spare pack. As Polly says, sometimes he takes the cake! I always though he was a weird character since the first time I watched this show. Guido Confused He reminds me of those stereotypical heroes like The Human Torch from Fantastic Four.

Was there some type of cut between when Speedy said "Time for a sn-" and Guido elbowing him. It looked like Speedy was still talking and then the next shot, out of nowhere, has Guido either elbowing him or hitting him. Did I miss something that was in KNT?

Maybe yes, maybe no. Or it could just be Guido being a bastard! (again, sorry louiecat)

This episode is great.  I love the interaction between Speedy and Princess Vi.  She's having fun and he's freaking out while he's trying to make sure she doesn't get hurt.

*Princess Vi is laughing while they're running*
Speedy: Love your sense of humor!

Didn't she develop a crush on Speedy after this?  She seems to enjoy his company in this episode.

If they really wanted to portray the Big Cheese as the mortal enemy of the Pizza Cats, why isn't he a dog?

I think  Princess Violet has a bit of a schoolgirl crush on  Speedy Cerviche, especially in this ep. I think she's also just happy to find a friend, as she seems quite lonely and frustrated with Palace life.  In 'Double Trouble for Princess Vi', she tells Speedy she thinks he's cute. Then again, she sends him to Extras Island in 'Emperor Fred Does Hard Time' ... along with her own father. That and she wants to marry Bad Bird. Love is a strange and mysterious thing on SPC!  Roll Eyes

In KNT she has a special nickname just for him: "Manuke Ninja" (means something along the lines of "Blockhead Ninja" or "Idiot Ninja").

I seem to remember she specifically sends for him to deliver a pizza in "Emperor Fred Does Hard Time."  There's also something said about a pizza with the "Speedy Touch."

I'm speculating Yattarou must have done something that made Usa Hime give him such a nickname.

Oh, and I've felt very much like Princess Vi in this episode when it comes to school from time to time.
