We make fun of this commercial SOOO much down here. It even inspired a skit in Drama class when I was in high school. I see why you made fun of it. Look, I'm just going to be some POG son of a b****, I never wanted to be infantry. If being a little motivated gets me made fun of or pulls in a hard time, f*** it, I won't mind.
To be honest, ever since signing up for the USMC, my life has gotten so much better. I got contract PFC already sewed up, promoted to squad leader at my RSS and been given a KA-BAR, a coin and some gear for my work on myself and the other poolees.
I will take my lumps out in the fleet, and I suppose I will learn the hard way. That's just me.
