I read about Microsoft buying Rare.  Sucks for people like me who only own Nintendo products.

Great for people like me who jumped to Microsoft products.  Tongue

I disagree Mech - I don't think Rare have had a hit game since they left Nintendo. Look at their success from the SNES and N64: Killer Instinct, DK Country 1, 2+3, Goldeneye 007, Diddy Kong Racing, Banjo-Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, Banjo-Tooie, DK 64, Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur Day.

And then look at the Xbox and 360 titles: Conker: Live & Reloaded, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Kameo, Perfect Dark Zero and Viva Piñata. Some of those are okay, but they're nothing compared to the older stuff. Especially PDZ. I can't describe how disappointed I was with that game. That's another character who's been screwed over: Joanna Dark.

They're making a new one for 360.
Yeah, it's called 'Nuts and Bolts'. They've removed some of the platform elements to put in a focus on building things and racing.

I really hope that they pull off this one. It looks incredible, but gameplay's the most important thing. And if they screw it up, I won't be buying another Rare game again.

I saw how the game looks and I was all like,  Huh?"Is there any platforming in this game?". I wanted a new Battletoads game but seeing what they're doing now Undecided, I'm not so sure anymore.

You're right, we are starting to get off topic.

Anyway it's best if Spyro has changed. To me, it's better to risk losing some fans while gaining new ones than losing almost all of your fanbase. Some who grew up with Spyro even like the new series better.

The old Spyro may not be returning and has gone in a totally new direction, but Crash is the same character and the same storyline. If you want, you can still have faith in him. It'll be all right, pizza zero.
