I remove my cover to every one of those "Heroes of the Day" that climbed those stairs in those towers, attacked the hijackers on that plane, and rescued those in the Pentagon.

It started like any other day for me.

I was in the 10th grade. We were having breakfast in the ROTC building, and the Sergeant came into the room, called us to attention, and turned on the TV.

We were always a rowdy group, the type of kids that couldn't hold still for a second. But for the rest of the day, we simply stared at the screen as the event unfolded one by one.

The second plane crashing into the other tower. The one that hit the Pentagon. The fourth plane that crashed on that field in Pennsylvania. The Towers collapsing.

The next couple weeks, I still could not get the images out of my head. I knew I had to do something.

From then on, I guess I started applying myself. I worked out, I studied hard. And as most of you know, I'm now, in a way, hunting down the bastards that did this.

The Song I referenced above "Hero of the Day" actually fits the fire fighters.

It's Metallica, and the song talks about how we view heroes on the television of sports or whatever, then they go on to talk about how the real heroes are the ordinary people in the ordinary life that do ordinary things...

BTW, if I see any of this Bullsh** about how it was an inside job and that it was the government who demolished the towers just to use it as an excuse to go to war... you'll see.

I was in grade 12, in my morning Philosophy class when I went out to use the washroom. I passed by our high school's main concourse and they had the TV's on, which was odd because they never do that. I watched for a few moments, seeing the smoke and whatnot, when I saw the 2nd plane hit. Everyone watching was literally like, "WTF" it was a sad moment..

My respect and love goes out to the victims and families of the September 11th, 2001 tragedy.

i was coming home to watch some cartoons on TV, but all i seen was the news & what happened

but yet, all sports games that where sheuleded (sp) for that day, went ahead, across europe

Unbelievable. Still the only word I can ever find to describe it.

I was but a wee lad in 5th (or 6th) grade, but I still remember it all. Senseless... horrible.
