Wow... The thread started off so well.

I've never seen Tokyo Mew Mew, however I've heard of it. (Not from Cloud-Boy though.)
It looks very interesting to say the least. Being a fan of cat-girls, the protagonists intrigued me.
The premise I've read on the back of the Manga sounds ok... yet a little too "Out There" for me to consider it at this point in time.

How about yourself B.J? What are your opinions on the series?

I love the series. It has a cute and charming tone to it when you compare it to other anime shows in the "magical girl" genre. Many people compare it to Sailor Moon which is actually kind of true. Both series consists of a group of five girls to protect the world from monsters leaving the leader to finish off the enemy. Ichigo is alot like Usagi (Sailor Moon) except she's not as much as a "crybaby". It may be too similar to Sailor Moon at times but it's waaayyy too charming to be considered a "rip-off". The tone is not as dark and serious as Sailor Moon but it does have it's fair share of shocks and surprises.

In conclusion, I really find this show to be "amazing". It may not be revolutionary but it certainly beats shows such as "The Powerpuff Girls" at being cute and charming. I highly recommend it for you cat-girl lovers Polly Love Polly Love Polly Love. I'd give it a 10/10. Grin
