Mega Man 9 just came out for the WiiWare at the Wii Shop Channel. Is anyone going to download it?

Mega Man 9... Ahh...
Well... Here's what I think. (Haven't beaten it yet, but I've been playing it all evening.)

1) An excellent job of bringing back something that's been lost to many gamers of today.
2) Some stages are simple. Others drive you near the point of nuts. A good combination. Keeps you entertained.
3) The story's kind of weak. It's not terrible, but it's clear that the developers had one goal in mind. Make the game, and don't worry about the minute ridiculous details in the story. It's not as bad as the later part of the X series. I'd put it close to Mega Man X5-grade quality. (Which in my book is still pretty good.)
4) I miss the Mega Buster & Sliding... Yet at the same time it's not a show-stopper for me.

Overall... If you're a Mega Man fan, go for the game. It's not too bad, and it looks like they've got a few ideas to add to the game's replay value.  Polly Love

No.
Rumor has it that you'll have to pay for it once the game's Download-able Extra Content for Money system is brought online.

I've got to say though, that the lack of sliding hasn't ruined the game for me so far. The developers made the game so you didn't have to slide. And one of the robot master's weapons grabs the items that are in those hard-to-reach places.

Wait! You have to pay? For an ability? WOW! These guys (Capcom) are worse than EA and Battefield BC.

It's difficult. I like how you can get another costume for roll, and play without your helmet.
