my thoughts so far... Why take one of the most overused words in movie titles and use it in the title? its not like the movie is gonna be better because of it or anything...

I'll use whatever damn language I want. Dragonball is one of the few mangas/animes I like, and the direction they've taken pisses me off to no end. 

What I don't understand is that last year The Dark Knight, Ironman and The Hulk showed that it is possible to make a successful comic book movie whilst keeping true to its roots. Why couldn't they have done that with this? Dragonball is a very simple story to follow, without these rediculous changes being made to cater to "a wider audience".

Goku being an unpopular loser in school, then coming forward and saving the day, whilst getting the popular girl? Yes, that's never happened before. 
Green demons, flying martial artists, and people shooting fireballs all over the place, but no blue hair for Bulma because it's "too unrealistic"?
Completely changing characters personalities, looks and roles, and leaving out very important characters to the story?

If Akira Toriyama had been kept as a producer, then there may have been hope for it, but I guess Fox doesn't even have any respect for the actual creator of aone of the most popular manga/anime series of all time.

I utterly refuse to see this, as it is going to suck big time.

I saw the trailer for this, and it bore absolutely NO resemblance whatsoever to the original anime. Therefore it automatically sucks rhinoceros ass and Fox can go lick the sh!t off it.
