Pizza Cat Menu Project

Something that I've thought would be fun to do is compile a "menu" of all known items that are served at the Pizza Cat. This would include both items seen on-screen as well as those mentioned in dialogue. It could include descriptions of the items as well as notes on when they appeared in the show. It might be best to do two separate menus, one for KNT and one for SPC, since the dialogue is usually different between the two. Going through each episode is a pretty big task, but we can do it slowly, just making notes as we happen to watch episodes and add to the menus over time. Since I'm more familiar with KNT, I'll start the KNT menu with a few items.
Pizza Cat Menu (KNT Ver.)
Pizzas
Sizes
L (Large)
Toppings
Tororo (Grated Japanese yam) (Ep. 01)
Hamachi (Japanese Amberjack, or Yellowtail, a type fish often used in sushi) (Ep. 01)
Tsukimi (Cracked egg) (Ep. 01)
Negi (Green onion) (Ep. 01)
Toro (Fatty tuna) (Ep. 01)
Ebi (Shrimp) (Ep. 01)
Tako (Octopus) (Ep. 01)
Shimofuri (Marble beef? Lightly boiled fish?) (Ep. 02) Not entirely sure about the meaning of one. The most common food-related usage of "shimofuri" I can come across is in reference to beef marbled with fat. But it's also used to refer to a boiling then cooling technique used on fish and chicken.
Specialties
Tokusei Pizza "Nyanki" (Deluxe/Special Pizza "Nyanki"): This is a codeword for Nyanki dispatch rather than an actual food item. But I felt like including it.
(Ep. 01)
Sets
(In Japanese restaurants, the word "Set" seems to often be used in a way similar to "Combo" or "Meal")
Iroha Set (Not sure of the significance of "Iroha"...) (Ep. 02)
Miroku Set ("Miroku" seems to be a Buddhist figure) (Ep. 02)
Daibutsu Set ("Daibutsu" = "Great Buddha", and usually is used to refer to large Buddha statues such as the ones at Kamakura or Nara) (Ep. 02)
Side Dishes
Wakame Salad ("Wakame" = a type of edible seaweed) (Ep. 02)
Baked Potato: Available in multiple sizes including LL (Double Large). (Ep. 02)
Drinks
Plum-Apple Juice (Ep. 02)
Desserts
Rocky Mountain: A giant sundae, taller than an average Animaloid. Includes several flavors of ice cream, topped with fudge, whipped cream, pineapple and watermelon slices, and decorated with sparklers. (Ep. 29)
Unnamed Giant Sundae #1: A sundae similar in size to the Rocky Mountain. Seems to consist of 3 flavors mixed together in a "swirl" fashion. Topped with whipped cream and several fish(!?) and decorated with sparklers. (Ep. 29)
Unnamed Giant Sundae #2: Another giant sundae similar to the Rocky Mountain. Seems to mostly consist of a pink flavor (strawberry?), with four other flavors arranged in rings of scoops about its diameter. Also topped with whipped cream and decorated with sparklers. (Ep. 29)

In the SPC version, those would be the Happy Himalayas.

"Happy Himalayas" is a nice name, I think I might actually like that over "Rocky Mountain".
Thanks for posting that doujin page Violet, I had almost forgotten about it. The toppings listed there include:
Kohada (Gizzard Shad, type of fish)
Aji (Horse Mackeral, another type of fish)
Horumon (Beef or pork giblets)
Inago (Grasshoppers)
Unagi (Eel)
Uni (Sea urchin)
Negi (Green onion)
Yanagawa (Loach (type of fish), burdock root, and egg)
Tanishi (Pond snail)
Kawazu (Frog)
Sazae (Turban snail)
Awabi (Abalone (type of sea snail))
I'll keep these separate from the main menu for now, since I don't know yet which if any actually were mentioned in the show itself.

Those are some interesting toppings, and here i thought it would be things like sausage and pepperoni, but for some of the costumers there i guess it would be cannibalism.
I can help out wit the SPC menu:
Bird's egg pizza (Ep.31)
Seafood Pizza (EP.31)
Seafood Pizza the size of Detroit w/ seashells (Ep.25)
Memorial Salad (for got which Ep.)
I'll post up more when i find it...

Ah! The ol' cannibalism conundrum. One of my favourites. What do you get when you have a fantasy world populated by self-conscious animals who eat the same food we do?
This gets me thinking about Chili-Dogs. I bet there are a bunch of Freedom Fighters who are the same species as what's ever in those sausages.
It also reminds me of a time I was at a petting-zoo, and a bunch of kids had a box of KFC. They were throwing KFC into the chicken pen, and the chickens were eating it.
It's best to just ignore it, as it is intended.
My side reasoning, is that in these fantasy realms there also exists animals as we know them. Think about a scene with a bird character, most defiantly you could here the ambiance of birds in the background. Is this another bird character making a ruckus? or is it really a non-anthropomorphic bird doing it's thing?
My guess is that the characters in these worlds would take advantage of agriculture and farming.
For SPC specifically, I'd argue that animaloids are in fact humans who have altered themselves to appear as animals. Like fur-suitors able to alter their genes.

For the SPC menu, I think Speedy was once delivering a rat-tail and fish-head pizza ("and it ain't getting any fresher")
I once thought that the only true animal (non-animaloid) shown on the show was fish, but I'm not so sure...
Exo-Necro-Animaloidophagy, I think, but as the good Comedian said, it may be best not to.

Yeah, and looking back at it. I think in either SPC or KNT there was a shot of just some common non-Anthro birds that where on the ground.
BTW I forgot which episode but there is one SPC episode that mentions peanut butter and anchovy paste.

The SPC finale introduces the "cat-bird special", which Polly describes as "milk sauce over chicken wings in a saucer".

Don't forget the Jalapeña (not Jalapeño?) pizza created by Polly in episode 16. I don't think it was a big success though, since Speedy and Guido thought it was a kitchen fire.
