You know your way too much of an SPC/KNT fan if...

-You've ever felt the urge to laugh like Bad Bird ("Kyahahahahah!")
-You've ever referred to you best- albeit much shorter- friend as "Jerry"
-When faced with a dilemma, you ask yourself "How did they do it in Episode (insert show number here)?"
-You've actually drawn out blueprints for giant killer robots.
-After drawing said blueprints, you then switch sides and develop just how the Pizza Cats would take it down.
-While working at the local pizza joint, if you've ever felt the urge to call your boss "Francine"
-You think your position as a Pizza Delivery Driver automatically qualifies you as a Pizza Cat, albeit with a car. (Raises hand, full of shame)
-You've ever spent more than ten minutes trying to rationalize Lucille's missile hair.
-You drool over yourself whenever you see Polly with her helmet off.

I think that's enough for now Grin

Here's one that actually happened to me earlier today.

-When your little sister claws up your hand with her fingernails, the first thing you hear in your head is "Nyanki Ninpou: Kakimushiri!"

You waste three days re-encoding a KNT episode so it works on Linux without codes that are copyrighted or aren’t free.

-when you would wake up early and STILL be late for school every morning because you HAD to watch SPC to the end.

-when you'd record the episodes faithfully on tape so you could REwatch them after school a hundred times, including all the parts where your mom was screaming at you to hurry up and get ready to leave.

-when you find SPC communities all over the net and get super excited, joining each one.

-when you've spent a good amount of your time and energy drawing SPC characters (and SPC related characters).

-when every one of your oldest friends online all somehow have a connection to SPC.

-when you've been a fan for... *looks at calendar* .....wow, I'm old.

-when others in the SPC community don you "a legend". o_o

...but you definitely might be a SPC nut if your name is PrncssVi. Hands down. And no one in the fandom will ever argue that.

Already did KNT 1&2 subs re-encoding, Xvid codec and wav in an Avi file, I don’t think anyone owns wav, is 100% supported in every Os I have ever used...I wish I could use ogg in a avi, but I haven’t found a freeware/open source program to do that yet.

Now I’m encoding KNT 1 sub in a huge mpg1 to see how well it works in slow computers...

Back on topic, I dreamed that Tsukeno re-encoded KNT opening and ending videos in HD and showed them in an anime convention…people in my dream asked, "Wow, is that a new anime or something?"

PS: Have you tried Freedos? It reached version 1.0!. Too bad the cursed TNt2 doesnt have a driver for DOS....

You re- encode two KNT episodes in mpg1 format so they work in a Pentium 100 with 16 Mb of ram...(True story)

but me re-encoding KNT... well i don't think the community needs my LaserDisc encodes.. we have a team on KNT already!! stop thinking of more work for me to do lol.

As for making something work on a P100

the CineVideo or Indeo 3.x codec's work fine on a P100

as do ASF (Audio/video streaming file) - but for linux... well just merge Videolan player

problem solved. it's open source and has divx and other mpeg4 compatibility.

Been there, done that...

I used mpg1 for video and mp3 audio compression, it worked fine on windows 95 pentiun 100 and 16 mb of ram. My original idea was to try it on Freedos, but the TNT2 doesn’t have DOS drivers so my second machine is stuck with windows98SE.

And for Linux, almost every video format works, the problem is the audio, unfortunately the best I could do was wma2, I really need a list of free audio formats. Sure I could just get the plugins for Totem, but where is the fun in that?.

free audio codecs for linux... hmm to name a couple.

FLAC, APE (i believe), ogg Vorbis (you need to merge support for it however using the Lib files), Mpeg 1 and 2 audio are available also via their merged components

it's been a while since i played with linux
