I did go by that handle once, several years ago.  It's nice to know that people still remember, even if the story itself wasn't that good.  Speedy Wink

You weren't supposed to.  Speedy Wink  But it does feel good to be dealing with the fandom again, and I hope to be able to contribute something again soon.  I'm looking forward to penning "Hero", and if that works out well, then its sequel, "Heroine".

All from 2004

Coming of the Cross
Rising from the Ashes
Christmas Cat-astrophe
Glued Vibrations

In the works

One Man's Trash (an original SPC Episode for Burkey's Fanfic contest)
Killer Cross-over (a new SPC Evolutions episode)

Oh and Jonas, let me say that you and Burke helped inspire me to write SPC fiction and create my character Dash St. Pierre

I'd encourage people who are looking for good reads to check out the work of BlackJack, the creator and original maintainer of SPC Labs.  Reading BJ's stories is what got me into fanfiction writing, and I'm surprised that no one seemed to discuss his stuff, even when he was releasing new material.  Guido Confused

The last I heard of him, he was ending his involvement in the SPC fandom to pursue his college studies.  I don't know if he'll ever read this, but I'd like to thank him for providing me with inspiration, and for being the first to host my own work, when it was finished.  Polly Love

BlackJack's fiction can be found here in my old library, along with a few other assorted authors that I thought were pretty good.  All of those links should work, with the exception of the Endgame file (but there are a few mirrors of it scattered about, so that's no big deal).

I consider that high praise coming from the likes of you bud. I hope to have my other two done before too long. Id like to have a few done before the summer's over but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it

Lol, I forgot about that and you know what? Reading my fics from back then... they were really... awful. God, why didn't anyone say anything? Luckly though... my writing has improved greatly as you will be able to tell from my X-Men fiction(http://www.angelfire.com/comics/kittyandkurt/fanfics.html).... I am working on a new SPC fanfic as well, it's an alternate universe type thing... no name yet, but it's coming along.... somewhat... ^^;

Sorry, but I think he was talking about "BJ" as in "BlackJack".   Undecided
