uncommon food/dishes

Im really not picky in what i eat and i try almost everything but some people really dont know when they should stop.
example (also a nice base to make some stereotype-jokes) :
sauerkraut pizza:(picture)
i got to admit that i love sauerkraut but not everything that tastes good has to be made into a pizza!(i guess ill stay at tuna,onions and pineapple)

well i only posted a pizza-topping but i guess its not that hard to find more really wierd food from all over the world.its not about posting food that is disgusting or so, i mean:i dont even want to know how many of hate sauerkraut(if you ever ate it).its rather about showing unusual stuff like...yeah international unknown and uncommon dishes or simply something to laught
why? well im intersted and maybe we can find some "got to try that"´s^^

From the few German food-words I learned....Sauerkraut is one of them, everyone always kept saying that cause it sounded pretty funny to say 

I actually only eat 2 kinda pizzas (I learned 2 years ago to eat pizzas) so I don't know many different kinds of pizzas, I only eat salami pizza and pizza Hawaii....

Lutefish
Dried fish that has been soaked in lye (caustic soda) for two days, placed in water and then boiled .
fun story, It is said that Lute-fish was invented when some viking raiders food supply was poisoned by the raidees. The vikings thought it was delicious.

It's a strange pizza XD Here in Italy there are many many many tipes of pizza but I prefer the classic one

Hehe sorry! It's name is Margherita (that means daisy) Is only with tomatoes and mozzarella...maybe can be with oregano but I don't like it.
Sometimes when I go to the restaurant I ask a Margherita with black olives...yummy XD

2 schoolyears ago I went to Prague and me and 4 others went to a pizza place.....dang we got pizzas bigger than the plates (In the Netherlands, most pizzas aren't so big).
I made a short video about the guy that placed the pizzas on the oven....eventually made...kinda a documentary of 20 minutes of The whole school trip from 5 days in Prague

Here depents...sometimes in the restaurant the pizza is very small and subtle so you would like to eat another one XD
Other times is more big than the plate and you find difficult to eat all XD

Yeah I almost finished my pizza but just couldn't eat the last bit, 3 others only ate a half pizza.....and the 4th ate 1 whole pizza and all the left overs from the others........

OMG XDDD

I'm not in the habit of eat very much when I go at the restaurant, but I remember one time that I ordered a plate of BIG sushi and I eat whole it ...and then I was still hungry XDDD

thats also something funny....in Prague I ordered also my first sushi......I'm glad someone told me NOT to eat the wasabi in one time (cause I wanted to do that, I really didn't knew what it was xD)

Hahaha XD Oh yes wasabi is terrible!! When you look it for the first time you think it can be good to eat but...urgh XD I remember the first time I've been in a japanese restaurant with my family, was the first time for everybody so I tried to taste te wasabi and...it has been like have fire in my mouth XD

seems like you two dont like it spicy i guess you would die if you watched the movie "wasabi" when he uses it instead of butter on toast^^

A little bit of Wasabi isn't too bad. It helps to clear nose clogs when you're sick too! However, eating too much of it can be... uh... Well.... it can light your mouth on fire, which is something my aunt did once.. She was bouncing all over the place.

Also, I have a taste for salmiak (ammonium chloride + liquorice) after buying a back of Strong Salmiak Fisherman's Friend.

As for wasabi, well ... anyone want some cake?

I use to eat wasabi a bit on sushi, and with soya sauce...in this way you can eat it, tastes good!

Anyway Vonhorz you're right, I don't like spicy foods at all XD

Yummy the cake must be delicious but the Chip Butty seems so...calorific O.o

only I'd prefer a bit smaller ones, but then again not as small as those from the mc donalds....

and I also prefer this cake: , it's a specialty from the province I live in. it's chocolate with some kinda cookie we call "speculaas" don't know what it's called in English
