Yummy the cake must be delicious but the Chip Butty seems so...calorific O.o
It is quite a delicious chunk of carbohydrate.

only I'd prefer a bit smaller ones, but then again not as small as those from the mc donalds....
Only chip shop chips for chip buttys! McDonlad's small fries on bread? Blergh!
The other trouble is the name, especially if you like your chips on a "bread roll", known over here as a muffin.
Say Chip Muffin, and you have people thinking that we eat chips on one of these
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muffin
which can be called either cakes or muffins depending on your locality.
I've just found that GH Sheldon have another "traditionally healthy" recipe for you, The GHS Breakfast Muffin:
http://www.ghsheldon.co.uk/process/7/RecipeIdeas.htm
I also feel the need to try the Potato Cake Pizza recipe.

OMG the The GHS Breakfast Muffin must be totally disgusting XD I don't like the food so full of ingredients, expecially I don't like very much fried eggs.
But the chocolate cake which sjonnoh has posted looks good, here in Italy there is something similar called "salame al cioccolato" (chocolate salami). It's not a real salami is a dessert and tastes good.
I also really like this kind of cookies
they are called "baci di dama" (dame's kisses) they are really good ^_^

lol for the wasabi-chocolate-fudge cake^^
oh and sjonnoh´s cake must be great because the filling alone is awesome....cant wait for christmas to get some of those ;D
well i have to realize that its quite hard for me to find national food and call it wierd since im used to most of them....
anyway:
good ol german currywurst....though its a fault to call it currysauce.
its more like a upgraded tomatosauce....i know sounds boring but just read the ingredience: worcestersauce, curry, paprika, honey, chilli and vinegar....and some tomatos.
its kinda hard to describe how it tastes, okay you can say:its based on tomatos and thats obviously curry on top of that but thats it.it just has its own taste wich is awesome^^
oh and talking about sauce: someone thought it would be funny to upgrade that sauce to 4,5million scoville....all i say about that is OMG (even if i had some more on my tounge already)

Vonhorz are you from Germany? this plate seems really spicy! I think it couldn't be my favourite kind of food XD but I would be courious to taste it!
Here in Italy (expecially in the north Italy where I live) we are use to eat cornmeal porridge (polenta, in italian) is very tasty expecially with meat sauce *yum*

no not French but Dutch, and Dutch is a bit like German, so....
The original Schnitzel is made of pork but these days you also have chicken. It's really delicious, also with (sweet) chili sauce.
I can't describe what it would taste like, I think it has it's own special taste.

The vikings thought it was delicious.
is it?cause it looks yummy
Let's just say, people had different standards for taste back then. It does taste better than plain boiled sun-dried fish, but that's pretty much it.
People still eat it though, its a traditional Christmas dish.
Something that is incredibly tasty though is Smörgåstårta, or "Sandwichcake" in english.
It's a cross between a big sandwich and a cake.

"The smörgåstårta is normally made up of several layers of white bread with creamy fillings in between. The fillings and toppings vary, but egg and mayonnaise are often the base, additional filling may vary greatly but often includes one or more of the following: liver paté, olives, shrimp, ham, various cold cuts, caviar, cheese and smoked salmon."
Wikipedia FTW?

If you're asking where it's normal found, then: "Smörgåstårta ("sandwich cake") is a Swedish dish that is also popular in Finland and Estonia."

I was born and raised in the center of California. However, with my parents getting old and seeking a beach retirement, I now live in Mexico.
