from what I see on google and on the japanese wiki, that blowgun is much taller.....but maybe this is a small version?

Well, you have to remember that Bad Bird is like.. 3 1/2 feet tall, so they probably just made it smaller for him to use personally.

I watched that scene, and when Karamaru's thinking while preparing it he does call it a "fukiya".
