Wow, check out the preview for this game. I dunno what to say, it looks pretty cool, but it just seems so contrary to the world of Sonic. I guess that's the point, heh.  |

Well, in the game you decide the destiny of Shadow, whether his alliegence is good or bad. I did not think much of the character at first, but after Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, he turns out to be ok in my book.
This is a good idea for Shadow to go solo, which fits his nature. I do however agree on what's the deal with the gun. I do not like that idea, but I suppose otherwise if the game turns out well.

This just looks awful. Not only is the idea completely crappy and anti-Sonic, but it even looks like garbage for what it is, (looks like they took the Sonic Heroes engine and slightly modified it for a gun.) It seems with each incarnation, I lose more faith in Sonic Team. Even the next-gen Sonic looks like an inevitable dissapointment, (basically Sonic Adventure with pretty graphics and less glitches.)
Indeed, the golden age of Sonic Team is certainly over, but at least we still have AM2.  (And the games aren't horrible...just mediocre, and this looks like it might be able to be one of the better ones) |

I've watched all the promo videos on the Sega website and my feelings are neutral. Some people think this is a rad concept others hate it. I think we shall have to wait and play the game, then decide. As for me, I'm just happy Sonic Team is still around, 1989-2005.
Jun Senoue will probably make another great soundtrack to go along with it, that's enough reason to have intrest in this game.
