I'm really sad, I remember how impressed I was when I visited that link at Princess Vi's Page named Dear Kogenta and I just couldn't believe something like that happening, I think I almost cried thinking about that poor car and his pain but I eventually surpassed the shock and just forgot the subject... Until this week...

In the last days a video was uploaded with footage of 2 cops from my country Colombia (I'm so damn ashamed) killing a poor female dog in a cruel way just for fun (2 cops were strangling her and a third one hit her on the had with a spade while the damn bastards were laughing), although lots of people are angry and talking about the event my country's government will punish the cops in ridiculous ways (1 jail year that can be exchanged or cancelled) and a 50000 colombian pesos fine (Like 25 dollars)...

I'm so angry about this subject but I can't do anything besides complain, my government is so damn corrupt that thjey just don't care about the people so I don't expect they really will do anything about a poor animal... The video is here but it is disgusting...

This is just... sad.. This reminds me of some recently learned occurrences of people poisoning wild dogs here where I live...  Grr... I'm mad ... but at least that's more humane than what these guys are doing..

Where do these police personnel find the time to do these things?

Kage's post depresses me in addition to the current events in  Tunisia and Egypt. I mean, it's good to see the people of a nation over throwing decade's old regimes. But more current events in these skirmishes deflate my optamism. First are talks of replacing the regimes with new ones under Islamic Law. I don't really call that a step forward; it's Islamic Law that dictates these intances where raped women are stoned for adultery.
Then today, back in Egypt, Mubarak unleeshes this goon squad on the protesters, in broad daylight, with the whole world watching. Everyone knows it's his doing. And thats the whole point. Nobody can do anything about this corruption.

But where the hell does that really come from?

I'll explain the grammatical errors of this later.

Is that really fair when the person in question does not speak English as their first language?

This reminds me of Motari and the puppy throwing. I can't understand how people can do this to an animal. I understand self-defense if it was attacking, but both subjects were pretty much harmless.
