The eyes are the windows to the soul

This is something of an odd question, but can anyone tell with certainty what color Speedy's eyes are?  In some pictures, they appear as a hazel/green, but in others, they show up as blue.

Eh, I guess the animators just get confused sometimes. As long as there is colour, there is no problem.

color errors are pretty common, whether the animation is Japanese or not.

They are green, at least according to my collection of animation cels.  It wouldn't surprise me if an artist wasn't paying attention and painted them blue now and then.  Also, the "whites" of his eyes aren't white, but a light green/aqua.  I guess this is because he wears white and they wouldn't stand out if they were white too.

They're green, I think they just made goofs( I know I have ). It's like in some Scooby Doo episodes where the color artist made Scooby turn green!

They made Scooby-Doo green? I can't remmber that.

Anyway, Speedy's eye colour probably had goof ups, but they are more likely light green or aqua-green just to match Polly's blue, Guido's brownish-red and Francine's purple.

it's been a long time since i've seen the show (hate to admit it) but i could have sworn i saw a close-up of speedi once where he had two different colored eyes, blue and green. am i just imagining things? my memory isn't what it used to be ^^;

There are definitely pictures where his eyes are shown as blue--I have at least one on my old site.  However, they're predominantly colored a dark green.

If you mean two differently colored eyes simultaneously (there's actually a medical condition for that, but its name escapes me), then yes, that does sound a little unusual.  However, stranger animation goofs have happened.

i've actually seen a number of images of animals with two different colored eyes- mostly cats and dogs- so IF i am not cracking up and did see blue and green, it may not have been such a blunder by the artist afterall.

His eyes are green; this same happen with the eyes of the Super saiyajin in Drago Ball Z, sometimes look blue and their eyes also are green...

I have some old TMNT episodes where the animators/voice actors accidentally swapped characters due to the only thing distinguishing them being their colored bandanas. It's sad, really.

They've done that once or twice with Speedy and Guido in the show.  Perhaps, on purpose...

(Guido's eyes aren't classic brown, more a of a coppery brown but I figured the brown description was close enough.)
