Seeing that I pre-ordered a blue 3DS and looking into the Street Fighter IV port (even though I stated years ago I wasn't into fighters) I decided why not start a thread about the 3DS, just to see what everyone thinks about it before and after launch.

And yes I'm trading in my old blue brick DS, because I really don't care about resolution on handhelds.

As of right now, I have no real thoughts about the 3DS. I've seen game-play and tech demos, and I think it looks cool with what they're doing with this technology, but I've yet to actually see the 3DS in real life, so I can't really make a good judgment on it.

Just got it at March 26, 2011, 11pm EST, and it's fun!

Also got SUPER Street Fighter IV 3DEDITION for it.

it made my eyes hurt at first, but after a few minutes, they adjusted. What mainly blew my mind were those cards...I'm still hung over, and I was all like "No F****** WAY!", Nintendo really went all out on this one. I can't wait until the better games come out down the road.

Well, looking at the 3DS page on wikipedia,
3:00 Hours if you've maxed out, About 4:00 if you just use 3D, Or 5:00 Hours if you don't max out and use no 3D.
DS Mode is 5-8 form what wikipedia says.

In your first link, there were 68 '5' star reviews, 12 '1' star reviews, 29 '4' star reviews, 7 '3' star reviews, and 8 '2' star reviews. That means there was roughly 10% of '1' star reviews, around 55% '5' star reviews, around 23% '4' star reviews, around 6% '3' star reviews, and also around 6% '2' star reviews. Positive scores generally include stars 3-5; this means that 84% of the reviews are positive.....

As for your second link, it's not uncommon to come across that kind of 'bug' in a new system. X-box 360 has, and still has, this kind of problem, along with the PS3. However, one thing I did notice was this: "It won't brick your 3DS, so "Death" is an overly strong descriptor, but it sounds pretty annoying." which means, at least you don't have to go and buy a new one...

Not to mention, knowing Nintendo, they'll probably make revamps of the 3DS, like they did with the DS, and get rid of the problem with one of those upgrades.

I will wait two years to get the console, so there will be more games, the thing will be a tad cheaper, and people wont be so much go happy with reviews just because its the only game of its kind for the console.

Sorry to make a near 2 month bump but my 3DS finally updated, which means I can now browse the web with it.

Problem is that it's slow and currently there's no flash player, but that didn't stop me from uploading pictures from it to 4chan.
