I'm trying to finish transcribing KNT 03 episode, but some phrases is still obscure to me  . Can you know some software to manipulate sounds for Linux? The equalizing can be done with XMMS, but I need resources like slower pitch playing, for example. Perhaps with the aid of technology I could understand better what is talked in Japanese.

Have you tried Audacity? (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/)
It can be used to increase/decrease pitch and/or tempo. And the site says it works for Linux.

Thanks for the tip.  Speedy Wink I'll try it, hope it can help me to transcribe the speeches. I'm downloading the Linux version from my Debian FTP mirror.
