yet another question that's recently popped into my head that doesn't seem to have a area of discussion where did the Rescue team come from..and for that matter how come the B team seem older then the SPC and are second in command...does that mean at some point they where the main team?

Hm, I think there was a FanFic about the orgins or the Rescue Team, though I saw it back in January.
Can't remember the name, though. I might as well look at the FanFic Wikia.
Nope, it's just this text: This story will be the origins of The Rescue Team. This episode takes place after the "No Talent Guido" episode. Someone needs to make that.

I think Francine hire Rescue Team to assist Pizza Cats. They are older and thus may know more about dealing with enemies. Plus they are stronger which allows them to use heavy equipment such as  `s cannon. Or consider  `s power to hold the hammer:  |

They were the ordinary Edo citizens doing their usually non-superhero jobs. They may used their equpment before they became the Rescue Team. - used the cannon to break down the buildings that were supposed to be demolished. - member of the Fire Department. Helped to rescue the animaloids out of fire.  - could also be the member of Fire Department.  - helped rescuing animaloids who were caught by an earthquake. |

Can we assume that the activity of the Ninja Crows in Little Tokyo escalated on the first episode? Before the show started, maybe the Recue Team were a main senior team of pizza cats who handled domestic emergencies. The main SPC team is a newly trained team intended for the possible rise of the ninja crows, but they haven't seen any action. So they're a little soft.
If I recall, Speedy makes a comment in Stop Dragon My Cat Around to the effects of "Bad Bird's at his old tricks again", and they instantly recognize the ninja crows inside the dragon. You're led to believe that there has been conflict in the past, and since the B team is comprised of older cats, I think it's a safe assumption to think they're the older generation/semi-retired crime fighters. |

I was recalling Karamaru's reaction to the cats in KNT, when he doesn't recognize who they are. Are you talking about KNT28 "Heh? Nyankii ga kaisan?! (SPC 25 "Pizza Cat Performance Review")?. How could Karamaru doesn`t recognize them? i am sure he saw all 4 members separately in previous episodes so he could remember he had encounters with them. If he forgot that in 28 episiode it would be strange. |

What makes you think that? I think he remembers he had an encounter but he forgot they are are cats. We can say he haven`t recognized them correctly. No, "Dogs of the government" would be referring to someone who's essentially a tool or arm of a government organization...not so much literally that they're 'dogs' but more of an insult. Figure of speech it is. |

I like to think that the Rescue Team members were the precursor to the Pizza Cats, but they all worked alone (remember they were all in different pizza joints, and only one usually shows up at a time?), which limited their effectiveness. Al Dente heard about this and decided to assemble a whole squad of crime-fighting pizza deliverycats in the center of Little Tokyo, to counter Big Cheese's evil schemes.
Although if that was the case, there were some flaws in his plan...have you noticed that aside from the Pizza Cats, there seems to be nobody keeping order in the streets of Little Tokyo? No cops, no royal guard; without the Cats, everyone's helpless.

I don't think karamaru knew them because wanko no kami also said, when they had to find hero's to defeat that dragon "finally the time has arrived to put the secret ninja team nyanki into action".
aide of that, after the nyanki team did their intro to karamaru his reaction is also like he never met them "what the--secret ninja nyanki team?
