Samurai Pizza Cats complete NES translation

I've recently created a full English translation patch for the Kyatto Ninden Teyandee game released for NES. Preview and download link available here:

Is it a literal translation or you changed stuff like Pizza Cats instead Nyankee and Speedy instead Yattaro?

In general, I only changed the names. The rest of the translation isn't literal, but the meaning of most sentences is preserved.

Hey, this sounds like great news! But I do have a minor complaint after viewing the preview. Weren't you able to add apostrophes? It's kind of annoying that there aren't any.

Also, I see that you've decided to go for more of a "SPC" translation than a "KNT" one. While this isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, would it be possible to do a more literal translation as well, at least as far as swapping the English names for their Japanese ones? And I'd offer my assistance for helping with KNT phrases (something like "A great victory for the world's most invincible (team)!" instead of "Cats triumph again!"), except I'm a little hesitant to volunteer for something like that after I've already failed to keep up with my own projects... :\

Nitpicking aside, this is fantastic news for the Pizza Cats community, and a great contribution from a new member like yourself.

Thanks for the offer, but as I wrote in my patch description:

Given the limited amount of space in the original rom, an exact translation would not be possible. Every piece of text needed to be appropriately abbreviated in order to fit the character limit and maintain cut-scene synchronization.

Nevertheless, I'm planning to add apostrophes by creating special characters (such as 's), so I shouldn't run out of space. I'll also fix some translation mistakes. I'm not sure how to completely get rid of synchronization problems though.
