Assuming KNT is included on the English SPC DVDs, I'll probably skip buying the Japanese DVD set, but otherwise I want it all.

I was under the impression that the KNT and SPC boxed sets were two separate things, or did you mean the actual KNT boxed set being released in Japan?

I already ordered the KNT set, and I'm definitely buying the SPC boxset (I've been waiting since my grandma threw out my boxes of VHS tapes when I was in college to see the show in decent quality again!).  I want the Speedy figure, but I'm stuck paying off student loans and I don't know if I can afford it.  If they aren't absurd on Yahoo! Japan auctions I may get one later, though.

EDIT:  Also Tigriss, I believe they are two individual sets.  So, no KNT on the SPC set and vice versa.

I've already bought the artbook, ES Gokin Speedy, and the Discotek KNT DVDs. The Japanese KNT DVD set is too expensive for me at the moment, although I'd like to get a hold of it for the sake of the box art and booklet. I'm pretty low on money now due to all the aforementioned purchases, so I might not be able to get the SPC set right away but I do intend to buy it as well.

I want SPC and KNT on DVD.  If they both come together on the English box set, then that's all I need.  If not, I'll buy both, although that might take longer since they're expensive.

Discotek's releasing SPC and KNT separately, so you'll have to buy both. Fortunately the prices are pretty reasonable, I've seen the KNT set going for as little as $42.

Discotek says they will have it up for preorder on their website "soon", while Rightstuf has had it listed at $42 since February.

I plan on getting both the DVD sets (I'd get the Japanese KNT set instead of the US set if it would go down in price a bit...) and I'll probably get the artbook, but I'm not sure about the figures yet.

If somebody does get the Japanese set, they should scan the little booklet for us.

I plan on getting the KNT set first when it comes out. Forgive me for being under a rock, but is this gonna available in stores or just online?

I would guess it will only be available in specialty stores; there are very few stores that still sell physical DVDs/blu-rays left these days (aside from the box stores like K-Mart, Wal-Mart, etc.).  You do still have FYE in some areas, but even they only have major titles these days and deal more in videogames and t-shirts.  I can't recall ever seeing a Discotek title in one, but I could be wrong.  It's not just an SPC problem, though; Fox cancelled the King of the Hill DVDs after season 6 due to a lack of retailers interested in buying DVDs outside of new release movies, much to the chagrin of fans.

I'll just take what's out right now which is ES Gokin Yattaro and the two dvd sets. The art book maybe but I got so much already.

Its on pre-order on Discotek itself. free of shipping and almost half the price that the retailers use. http://www.discotekmedia.com/kyatto_ninden_teyandee.htm

I'll be getting the SPC boxset for sure. Huge fan of the show, and it's my chance to finally own it on video.
