Today I had Teyandee in my mind so I have been looking for stuff about it with Google; anyway, I found this page and it said something that I never heard before:

Also noted, if the series continued the creators (of the KNT) stated that that the new villain Dr. Purple (Dr. パープ) was going to appear in the KNT TV series new season and he was meant to replace Ko'on-no-Kami (Seymour Cheese) as the new main villain (after the comet incident final episode).

Is this for real? I really doubt it but this made me curious...

I'm not sure. Honestly, this is the first that I've heard of it. It does spark my interest, though.

I've never heard anything along those lines, as far as I know he was just made for the NES game.

Pretty sure that wiki needs to enforce [citation needed] standards more often. I keep meaning to go through it myself when I have the time, but you more active members could always pitch in too. I think it's safe to remove unsourced info like that, especially if fans who have more knowledge of KNT, like felineki, have never heard of it.
