HG is a character played by the comedian Masaki Sumitani. A lot of Japanese comedians have a gimmick, and it's pretty obvious what HGs one is. He goes around Japan helping people with problems dressed up in tight leather pants, hip thrusting all the way to the music of "Livin' la vida loca". This ofcourse often scares people half to death when he suddenly jumps out, but amazingly he often gets the job done. HG mainly appears on the TV show "Bakusho Mondai no Bakuten!", however he's known for showing up in the most unlikely places.

Sakura viewing - watch

Every year the Japanese go out and enjoy the cherry blossom in parks. But the day after it's a real mess. HG goes out to battle this problem.

The Television - part 1 part 2

There is a magazine like Entertainment Weekly in Japan that has celebrities on the cover holding a lemon. HG wants in on the action.

TOMY - part 1 part 2

A game called 'Popup Pirate' is very populair in Japan. HG goes to the manufacturer to convince him of releasing a HG version of the game.

Yahoo - watch

HG's cathphrase is 'Hoooooo!', but Ya'hoooo' seems to have stolen it from him! So he goes to the Yahoo main office to get compensation.

Cooking - watch

Today's children are fussy about what they want to eat. Can HG convince them to eat what they don't like?

Sunrise, sunset - watch

HG shows up where you least expect him. See him pop up in the music video.
