Aww... what was wrong with Tales of Symphonia's voice acting?  Cry
Everyone they hired was an experienced professional, plus they had my hero, the awesome Cam Clarke as Kratos. (Clarke also voiced Liquid Snake in MGS.)

This House of the Dead 2 voice acting, however, is downright terrible.
It was most likely done by the game's actual developers, and umm... one of their sisters, rather than people with any VAing experience.
I mean, wow... There are just so many things wrong there. Incorrect word emphasis, stuttering, total lack of emotion, and the fact that most of they all sound like they're reading the words in the script for the very first time.

To end on a not-so-sour note, the IMDb site for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory has a lot of voice actors from SPC listed in the credits, those being:
Rick Jones (Speedy), Terrence Scammel (Guido and The Narrator), A.J. Henderson (Catton, Big Al), Dean Hagopian (Big Cheese), Mark Camacho (Spritz T., Bucky, Yard Bird) and Susan Glover (Lucille, Violet).

Yikes! That's almost everyone from SPC!  Yikes!
If anyone here's played Splinter Cell games, have you been able to recognise any of those actors whom we're already so accustomed to hearing?

i know a couple of games that have even worse voice acting, and i'll give you guys two direct links.

http://zanyvgquotes.com/megaman8/index.html  (Dr. Light's voice acting is sure to make you cringe, or laugh out loud)

http://zanyvgquotes.com/starocean2/index.html  (Star Ocean 2. warning! the voice clips don't contain swear words, but the site's owner's comments do)

Dr. Light has a case of Fudd-citis!

Yhor hwelp would be quweatly appweciated!

And why do they have to Ruin Megaman's voice??? WHY!?! He sounds like he 5 years old! At least Roll's voice is consistent with her character.

*Cries*
Because Capcom wanted to be cheap... so they used the same VA's that they used in the Japanese version...
*Cries even harder.*

I'm currently waiting for my copy of the House of the Dead movie (by legendary director Uwe Boll!) to arrive at my P.O.Box.

I've heard that the acting in the movie is worse than the one on the games...

Yes, it's true, that movie has to be one of the worst ever made, It has large plot holes and really, really bad acting.(even for a zombie movie) it's so cheesy it becomes funny; and this so called "horror/action" movie becomes a comedy satire of the zombie, horror genre.  But with that aside there is some fun to be had with this film. That's not a completely uncommon practice.
Though I haven't played any of them, I believe that was done in quite a few Resident Evil and Silent Hill games.

So much for me ever being in a Mega Man game then.  Yikes!
