Hints to Speedy and Polly falling in love with each other?

I don't think anyone "hates" the idea of Speedy and Polly being a couple. You're taking things too personally. Just because someone disagrees with you on something, it doesn't mean they're trying to get on your nerves just for the sake of it, or have some kind of personal grudge against you. That's just how discussion works; not everyone is going to think the same as you do. And when the discussion is over something as trivial as cartoon character pairings, you shouldn't let it upset you.

If you hate the idea of Speedy and Polly being in love then why come to a post about Speedy and Polly being in love. its because you like to bug people and get on there nerves.

This is just silly. Speedy/Polly is the most popular pairing on the show. Many here have openly expressed support for this couple without any 'bashing' by other members. It's just that most don't feel the need talk about it every two seconds of the day - especially if it's the same thing over and over. This is when conflict arises: not because Speedy/Polly is hated, but because of the obsessive way it's been harped on about by a certain few.

I presonly am not annoyed over people that are "osessive" about Speedy/Polly at all if some one wants to express positive feelings about Speedy and Polly they can do it all day and it wont bother me  but when some one is expressing negative feelings I guess I get agrovated alittle to easy.But your right I guess I sould calm down a bit.

I never get tired of saying that KNT has a love triangle cloned from Macross, basically the dude starts loving the immature girl(Omitsu), but finally ends with the more mature girl(Pururun). While that's hard to notice in SPC, because of the heavy edit, is basically the same thing. 

Speedy dates Lucille, but she is selfish and cares more about herself and getting attention than anything(A bit like Vi, no wonder these two get along well). That’s why she doesn’t chose between Guido and Speedy, cause she likes to get attention. Lets just say that she ends choosing Speedy, because she may really like him and because Guido flirts with every cute girls he sees. Guido may seem to get Lucille attention more, but that’s because Lucille is an attention/affection seeker and Guido knows what she wants, that means presents, and stuff like that. I think that’s the reason she tried twice to become a famous singer, to be loved by many people. Her giant missile in the last episode was more like a“I'm angry cause you don't love me" than a true heart broken.

Polly is obviously a feminist, who stereotypes all men as having their brains in their pants.
Speedy would be happier with Lucille, since she's quite girly, and happy to cook for him. Capable of love he might be, but his one true loves is food.
Guido is quite woman friendly. He's a sex-war pacifist, who is a lot more compatible with Polly.

Guido isn't really romantic to me, at all. For some reason, I think he always says the wrong thing to a girl. It's funny how Guido gets beat up more by Polly than she does to Speedy. But he does have SOME points in there. I can even point them out too:

When he mentioned that Speedy thinks about woman and food, in the very last episode, when Polly is confessing her love to him in what should have been a Speedy/Polly's wetdream come true, he cracks a joke about her making a pizza. Both sexist, chauvanistic and hilarious at the same time.

Polly does tend to hate on the guys in the series, often injuring, insulting, fighting with them and would rather have the company of Francine sometimes than the two male leads. (Mrreowr.)

It's 2:00 AM here, dunno why the hell I'm up this late when I should be asleep. I'll post more later on.

Oh, and I think Huskie is my new fave new guy, he can really stir up a debate! Keep it up, Husk!

Ya Speedy did say that thanks to the wrighters and popular Amarican culture. That was more of a sick joke the wrighters put in there of corse being a show aimed more towards childern they could not have it to "mushy" so they put that in there to change the emotion.

I cannot see Speedy as a chovanist! he is not! He said that one joke cause he got too nervous around Polly...but that doesn't mean he's a chovanist! He seems to respect women a lot. In the eps I've seen he DOES respect everyone, INCLUDING women!

Whoa whoa, I didn't say "hate" debate, I said a "heated" debate! See the importance of spelling? Told ya it'd come back and bite ya in the ass when I pointed out your spelling mistakes in other threads.

Debating is just fine, just really leaning into personal attacks and such kinda goes over the line. You can be passionate, but be passionate about the subject, not the person.
