I've seen this before. It never occured to me, it was very old. Sorta early 90s.
I don't see any interest in it. So it's an anime that does not stick out for me.
But it seems to be popular with many people.

I watched the series, it was aired in Brazil. I liked it very much, although it was somewhat repetitive in some episodes. In my opinion the most important feature of Sailor Moon is Usagi, a goofy school girl who becomes a heroin. Perhaps it's the first shoujo manga/anime which can be appreciated by boys too.   Polly Wink

No, the first one that can be "appreciated by boys too" was also the first shoujo manga, the knight princess or princess knight, "La princesa caballero" en español.

Is increible how many good animes we got here in the 80s and early 90s, Mazimer Z, Astroboy, Conan the boy of the future, Speed racer, G-force/Gachaman and Samurai pizza cats. Well maybe Robotech and some shows we got in 1996/1999 thanks to a Tv channel from Chile...

And remember channel U.S.A? Saturday mornings where never the same after they took out Tecknoman/Tekkaman blade....

There where also shows I don’t remember well, like the time machine(The one that ripped off Megaman designs, not the one who had time traveling to Jesus time) and that one about a girl than ends trapped inside a book and has a friend made of sugar...

I watched the complete serie a lot of years ago... I even cried when mamoru broke with Usagi... I wished Seiya kissed Usagi and I really liked MakoChan (Sailor Jupiter)

That was a great cartoon...

I saw one eppy when I was about 8.
Judging from what I've read(2 paragraphs Roll Eyes) I think it was the one where Jupiter shows up.
