Well, I dont know if you got the new "French" season buts is total crap, I mean at least the first 52 episodes had some sence, but having Sonic do space travel to diferent planets and all the other new stuff is bad. And the fights suck, I saw one episode where they use the space ship to destroy some kind of hard crystal robot, Sonic is the one suposed to beat the bad guys!!!.

The entire plot with the Metarex(not sure how to spell it) was great. It dealt with hundereds of manufacured Chaos Emeralds, Eggman manipulating Shadow, the fact that the Metarexes are in fact a plant and the discovery of other races(one was a different race of humans) was amazing. The ending was fantastic as well. There were pathetic moments, namely, Amy and Cream piloting the Blue Typhoon, but overall this season was better than the others.
However... I miss the Tornado as well.

The French paid money to make that new season (So it was first aired in France and in another country that I cant remember), Sonic doesn’t kick ass as much as he should, The Metallix are cool as metal,not plants, if you dont believe me go to stc-archive.gue-network.com/ and read some STC issues with the Metallix in them. The new season just pirated Captain Harlock and some 80s show that was a lot cooler that this season.

And this season wasnt better than the others, the first 26 episodes of the japanese Sonic X where good, Some Knuckles vs Sonic fights, Eggman copied Mazimer Z and Bokkun was still funny back then. Sure fake esmeralds is a good idea, but making space travel the central point of a Sonic cartoon is not, Space travel needs evil empires, space pirates or at least a dude that was stuck 300 years in a blackhole to be good. OR at least it had to be funny like Captain Kitty(Online comic killed by the author cause they promised him the whole Cartoon based in his work crap).

PS: And Shadow has the exact same speed as Sonic, why the heck he needs a motorbike?

As for Sonic not kicking enogh ass, apparently you didn't see his fight with Knuckles, the fights with Eggman, the battles with the Metarex and the confrontation of Shadow, which ended up with Supersonic and Supershadow destroying an entire battlestation and fleet of Metarex. And then Eggman, Shadow, aformentioned fleet of Metarex and the seven original Chaos Emeralds were lost in a black hole.

The Metarex mey look mechanical, but they are indeed plants. It is a nice change of pace from the tired old "Nature=Good, Technology=Bad" plotlines. And they aren't the Metallix. Sonic The Comic doesn't follow the exact same storyline as the games OR the anime. They may have some of the same characters, but the Metallix and the Metarex are NOT the same. Kapeesh?

As for Sonic X pirating other shows, welcome to the world. Shows are influenced by other shows that have been popular either in the past, or in the present. Sonic X is no exception. Which show do you think spikey golden hair originated from?

Besides unless the Master emerald is around, there isn’t enough power to sustain more than one Super being, that’s why Shadow had that much trouble destroying the Ark. And where the heck they got power for the fake emeralds? When Tails made one in SA2 he used one of the emeralds they had, but doing that big amount of fake emeralds would power down the CHAOS emeralds, since it seems they only have infinite power when they are close to the master emerald.

Maybe that explains why we haven’t seen all the others Super in a long time, but that doesn’t explain why Super Knuckles is gone, since he only needed the 7 normal chaos emeralds. Oh, well maybes they thought it was too much power and just decided to erase it from the timeline and give extra abilities instead).

The idea of Sonic being the only one to turn Super is good when they give th others extra abilities, like swim, flying, digging, gliding and so on.

But Shadows ruins that, whith all the powers he had in Sonic battle, why the heck he needs to turn Super?. It would be cool that since he doesnt have the "limiters" anymore he could get strong as Super Sonic without transformation.

It was a online comic and  it has nothing to do with traveling inside videogames. It was about the space adventures of a purple cat and his crew, and they made fun of a lot of things, like telemarketers.

The explanation is, back in the old Genesis days the Super element was more for fun. Now that it's being used as a (small) plot device, Sonic and Shadow alone contain this power in the anime in order to set them apart from other characters. So, it's an ego boost for Sonic.  
In short, he's the star, stars are special.

What you have just said makes you sound like you dislike Sonic because of Digimon.

The master emerald powers up the chaos emeralds and the Chaos emeralds give power to Super forms. Somehow the master emerald gave extra power to the Chaos emeralds and that’s why we had Hyper Sonic, Hyper Knuckles and Super Tails. As seen in Sa2, the master emerald can also power down the chaos emeralds (Or it was in the Sonic X Sa2 adaptation?). And it also seems that the master emerald can give power to anything easier that the chaos emeralds.  It turned the crappy Silver/Mecha Sonic* into Gold metal Sonic that was almost invincible, if he just had the brains to stay close to the master emerald he would have been unbeatable.

*Silver Sonic is the robot Sonic that appears in Sonic 2, somehow it survives to the next game saga (Sonic3 and Sonic&Knuckles) and gets powered up by the master emerald.

In Sonic X, the Master Emerald has the power to STOP the energy of the Chaos Emeralds. That's its PURPOSE IN SONIC X.
The Master Emerald may have given power to the Emeralds in the game, but Sonic used the Super Emeralds to turn Hyper.

No way.

Why should he call Tails "pixel brain" in the anime?! THE ANIME IS NOT THE COMIC OR THE GAME! The designer of the entire Sonic franchise, Yuji Naka, directs the story of Sonic X. Sonic X is his view on the world of Sonic. The comics are, in their own way, merely a fan production, albeit on that Sega has authorized. Thus, you can't compare the two. It becomes even more muddled if you say Sonic should comply to other comic/hero standards. It's the same as saying Bowser should hurt people by touching them in the Smash Brothers series because he can hurt Mario by bumping him in the Mario series.
And Sonic is not naive in any way. He is actually a very smart character, he just doesn't let on to how much he knows. Sonic is the ultimate.
