Must be because of the way I drew the nose, I guess. At first, I had the entire preimeter of the nose outlined, but it didn't look right, so instead I just defined the top of the nose with one line and used the color to define the rest of the shape. Maybe I'll see if I can fix it...

Heh, the lines are actually really rough and sketchy (I went over each one dozens of times until I filled them out to the correct shape), but I shrunk the picture down a bit so it doesn't really show as much.

As for the rest of Speedy's helmet, I'm gonna try, at least. Smiley And from there, hopefully his face, and then the rest of him.

Gosh I haven't posted here in quite a while.

Anyway, I haven't been having much luck on the drawing front, unfortunately. However, I have made a bit more 3D progress.

I decided to go a different route than the earlier thing I posted, which was high-poly with all of the little details actually modeled in. Instead, I decided to go (very) low-poly just to make things more manageable. My intention for making SPC 3D models was mostly for use as drawing aids, so they don't have to be perfectly polished. As long as the overall form of the character is there, it will be enough.

Still needs a head, arms, tail, texture mapping and rigging, among other things, obviously. It's taken me long enough just to get this far, as I don't have much 3D experience.
