Ah...so THAT's how the whole Crimson Dawn epic was to have played out. I always wondered how it would have gone down...thanks for posting it, man.
So...Sinder, huh? A.K.A. Jonas Miles? I've always wondered if I'd ever have the chance to compliment you on your fic...it was, and still is, one of the better SPC/KNT fanfics out there, and inspired me to write one of my own (though, sadly, it never took off). I was still heavily inspired by your work, however--I know that it may seem poor to you, looking back on it now...and, admittedly, my own hindsight reveals a few flaws here and there (more on that in a bit). However, in overall terms, I give it an 8.5/10, if not higher! Romance, action, detailed settings, original ideas, a script format that was easy to follow...buddy, "Crimson Dawn" was a CLASSIC of SPC fandom! Several of my OWN fan ideas were inspired by it! In other words, Sinder, you did a bang-up job...and it's cool to see how the rest of the epic would have played out!

Anyway, as I said, there were only a FEW flaws in an otherwise excellent fic:
-Jonas Miles seemed to hold the spotlight a little more than the rest of the cast, but as he was a fan character that you were particularly fond of, this is understandable, I suppose. (besides, I get the vibe that the SPC would have reached a more equal playing ground with him as the series went on). In fact, this was the only glaring flaw I could find, really.
-A little rough around the edges here and there, but hey, it's not that bad at all...especially considering you were 14 at the time.
-OK, updating my criticism here...I agree with some of the others, Jonas WAS rather over-powered compared to the SPC, in regard that he seemed to be capable of pretty much ANYTHING. Super science, genetic modification, teleporting armor onto the SPC, being able to take their combined finishers without any sign of real damage...at times, it seems a little absurd, looking back on it now. However, as I say, hindsight is 20/20--you seem to have noticed flaws like that yourself, so, well...no harm, no foul.
-I agree that there could have been a little more humor injected here and there (maybe not so many civillian casualties), to add more of the original spirit of the show...but still, it WAS a good fic.
Anyway, all in all, Crimson Dawn was pretty good, cases of "Over-powered Original characters" aside. Don't be so hard on yourself...cause your fic, even looking at it now, ROCKS in my book.
