I remix a lot of my stuff, however my first fanfic(The one with invented pokemon) cant be fixed because it was a bad idea to start with, and I hate it too much^_-. I could do something about “Pokemon dungeon” but I already did one about a dude who was reborn as a Digimon ages ago. Nowadays I’m trying to turn a old Megaman X fanfic into “original” stuff, and I’m still working in the original story I started three years ago “ Rur, the girl  of two worlds”(Rur, la chica de dos mundos). I would love to keep writing some Digimon fanfics, but it seems the interest on them drooped dramatically.

He's alive!

Of course you cringed.  I cringe at the stuff I see in my sketchbooks when I was 14.  I'm sure I'll cringe at the stuff I'm doing now eight years from now.

I read the whole thing.

From what I remember it didn't feel like a Pizza Cats story at all.  I liked it okay and read the whole thing to the end (keeping my interest that long is a feat in itself) but SPC is a very silly show.  KNT is a slightly more deadpan very silly show.  Crimson Dawn was super serious.  It might have fit in better as a fanfic for another series, or as an original short story.  And Jonas...Jonas felt a bit too self insert "I put myself in a fanfic!  I'm awesome!" quality to it.  This was about seven years ago, I hope I'm remembering this stuff right.

Have you been writing for fun since then?  You should if you've got the time at all.

So stupid. So very, very stupid.  Shocked

I'm sure that when I was 14, it all sounded very impressive, but now...

So stupid.   Sad

Yeah Burkey, I said it. Tongue

EDIT: I hate this story. Hate it SO MUCH. BLEARRRGH.

One of the points of a fanfic is to show things that don’t happen in the series, manga comic or whatever you are basing the fanfic on. For example Bass “meloroban” fanfic about Megaman had Zero as guy who liked to date girls, Elec man believing he was Thor the god of thunder, Fire man as a pyromaniac and a Cut man obsessed with haircuts and cutting heads off. I’m trying to create original characters based on those three, but the whole point of them being robots allowed for a kind of humor you cant do with organgics, like Cut man cutting Fire man head off and he and Elec man playing football with it, or Sigma putting Cut man head in a very fat body to make it believe he has gained a lot of weight, and so on..

You serious? Crimson Dawn was indeed, one of the reasons i decided to write my own FanFic (Witch is quite an achievement, due to my incredibly low self-esteam, i probebly would'nt have bothered writing it at all). I do admit you are being a fair bit hard on Crimson Dawn. But, as stated before, you can be you're own worst critic at times...

I love writing, but perhaps you should brush up on your spelling and structure a little bit before you delve into a project. Just some healthy advice here, based on this one post I've seen.

Ah...so THAT's how the whole Crimson Dawn epic was to have played out. I always wondered how it would have gone down...thanks for posting it, man.

So...Sinder, huh? A.K.A. Jonas Miles? I've always wondered if I'd ever have the chance to compliment you on your fic...it was, and still is, one of the better SPC/KNT fanfics out there, and inspired me to write one of my own (though, sadly, it never took off). I was still heavily inspired by your work, however--I know that it may seem poor to you, looking back on it now...and, admittedly, my own hindsight reveals a few flaws here and there (more on that in a bit). However, in overall terms, I give it an 8.5/10, if not higher! Romance, action, detailed settings, original ideas, a script format that was easy to follow...buddy, "Crimson Dawn" was a CLASSIC of SPC fandom! Several of my OWN fan ideas were inspired by it! In other words, Sinder, you did a bang-up job...and it's cool to see how the rest of the epic would have played out! Smiley

Anyway, as I said, there were only a FEW flaws in an otherwise excellent fic:

-Jonas Miles seemed to hold the spotlight a little more than the rest of the cast, but as he was a fan character that you were particularly fond of, this is understandable, I suppose. (besides, I get the vibe that the SPC would have reached a more equal playing ground with him as the series went on). In fact, this was the only glaring flaw I could find, really.
-A little rough around the edges here and there, but hey, it's not that bad at all...especially considering you were 14 at the time.
-OK, updating my criticism here...I agree with some of the others, Jonas WAS rather over-powered compared to the SPC, in regard that he seemed to be capable of pretty much ANYTHING. Super science, genetic modification, teleporting armor onto the SPC, being able to take their combined finishers without any sign of real damage...at times, it seems a little absurd, looking back on it now. However, as I say, hindsight is 20/20--you seem to have noticed flaws like that yourself, so, well...no harm, no foul.
-I agree that there could have been a little more humor injected here and there (maybe not so many civillian casualties), to add more of the original spirit of the show...but still, it WAS a good fic.

Anyway, all in all, Crimson Dawn was pretty good, cases of "Over-powered Original characters" aside. Don't be so hard on yourself...cause your fic, even looking at it now, ROCKS in my book.

What's really funny is that the contact e-mail listed at the end of the story hasn't been active for years, so there's no telling how many fan letters I never received. The same goes for the address listed on the now-defunct website; I closed the account years ago. I try to limit my methods of contact to forum PMs and the like now.  Tongue
