Samurai Pizza Cats / Fan Works / Re: Samurai Pizza Cats X!

I did it in script format on purpose. I was trying to practice writing in screenplay form, plus, maybe I'll really send it to Disney for consideration -- that's why I threw in the "Fox & The Hound/Peg-Leg Pete/Mortimer Mouse" reference. Sucking up, as it were. If we're willing to go all 80's, we could call it "Challenge of the Samurai Pizza Cats."

Samurai Pizza Cats / General SPC Discussion / Re: Jetix Home Entertainment

Wow, yeah, that's probably pre-production. It sounds like the one man, maybe two, and one woman doing nearly everyone's voices. Plus the logo seemed unfamiliar. I also was under the impression that Disney had the rights in Region 1, so that would make sense.

Samurai Pizza Cats / General SPC Discussion / Re: Hate for the Pizza Cats

Ha! Nice. Although I don't hate Family Guy quite that much, I do subscribe to Trey Parker's theory of how they write the episodes.
Almost no one I know likes the Pizza Cats as much as I do, although one guy I lent my DVD to decided to torrent the entire series that same night. The series is so abstract, no matter which language it's in, that it's hard for a lot of people to get unless they're very swift on the uptake. In the English version, the jokes are so rapid-fire that you can miss a lot of them unless you're really thinking fast. Kind of like how Arrested Development worked, really.

General Discussion / Off-Topic Discussion / Re: The Plight of the Cartoon Industry

There were a lot of general cartoons that I really liked during the 90's, like Tartakovsky's stuff and a few of the Disney cartoons, but lately, it seems like I'm too out of touch with them durn' young'uns to watch TV animation anymore, and the only stuff I still get is adult-targeted animation like Futurama, American Dad, and the like. I did think Kim Possible had some promise, but then they canceled it.
You know who they should bring back? Popeye. Except they'd probably have to make him too PC for it to be true to the source material.

Thanks for the advice on the framing. I'll probably take it somewhere and actually have it done, rather than attempting it myself.
The file is only about four MB. It's a somewhat large image, but not gigantic.

Yeah, I finally got it after missing the first two deliveries. I scanned it in in fairly high-res so everybody could see it, but can't find anyplace to post it on the Intraweb. Anyone have any suggestions?
Also, that black-and-white drawing looks like it's the exact same scene.

I was pretty impressed, also. He also managed to work almost every Cartoon Network character from the 90's in there and still have it seem mostly organic, which is even more impressive. Except Johnny Bravo, but I guess I'll let that slide.

Samurai Pizza Cats / Teyandee! Discussion / Re: Robots?

I guess Santa can still deliver presents to the animaloids. Even after they've mercileslly slaughtered all the actual humans left on the planet, they're still on the "Nice" list. Except for Big Cheese, of course.

Samurai Pizza Cats / Teyandee! Discussion / Robots?

I noticed that the character are basically supposed to be animal-shaped robots in KNT, a fact that they kind of glossed over in the US version. This started to creep me out after a while, because -- where are all the people? It left visions of Speedy and Bad Bird teaming up to mercilessly slaughter all the actual human beings left on the planet. "Hey, baby! Want to kill all the humans..?"
