Otama as a "dorobou neko". This is a pretty archetypal look in Japanese media. For example, if you're familiar with the Kirby series of video games, you'll notice quite a bit of similarity to TAC.

i think that the image of catton is more likely him blowing the crud out of something on a mountain than posing in front of a volcano.... cause his cannons are still smoldering. but, that's just my opinion.

I think this is a reply to my comment in Tenko's early blog entry.
In his latest post, he says it's impossible to draw a 20 years old guest character relying only on his memory. Moreover he comments about that episode, it has been taken much time owing to difficulties in defining Yankee's looks to make them somehow alike Japanese counterparts but also somehow different, and to make images from their names. He feels somehow responsible for the delay in the making of this episode, but he is unsure if the delay was due to his fault, since he worked in a location far from where the series had been produced.

Mega Up Pururun. Tenko says the Mega Up parts are really hard to draw. I haven't tried drawing them yet myself, but I can understand why they would be.
