Why does Polly cover her mouth in the japanese? Guido Confused
Because she is saying Sukashii's name out loud in front of Omitsu. The Nyanki were better at keeping their identities secret than the Pizza Cats.

Several months after its release, this episode still is the only one subbed to English. More episode is on the way, but things is going in slower pace than expected, despite all efforts done by the Dream Project. The good side of this deliberation is the work being carried out with great care, since the main aim is to get the higher accuracy possible in the translation.

Despite some time passed since its release, I feel this episode still deserves a few more discussions and comments. Broadly speaking, this one isn't as deeper as some later episodes, perhaps due to the introductory nature of the initial episodes of the series. It's still developing some plots introduced by KNT 01 (for example, Seymour Cheese congratulates  Big Al Dente for settling the case of the mecha dragon, but warns him about new troubles that may come further),

Some interesting points in my opinion are:
  • Lucille shows an unseen side of her personality, demonstrating how much she cares about her brother and the courage in the confrontation against the sushi robot;
  • otherwise, Lucille ignores completely Speedy Cerviche when he is courting, only noticing him after trampling on his head;  Grin
  • Speedy Cerviche demonstrates why he's the leader of Nyanki; Guido Anchovy is trapped on the sushi (it seems he's trapped by the shame, but not because was physically tied to the block of rice), and he moves only when Speedy Cerviche orders him to save the Lucille's brother;
  • the OO-EDO history lesson is great and very funny indeed; the fictitious shogun Tokugawa Tsunasarada was based in a real life shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, to whom is attributed an order that forbade all mistreating against animals. It was said that the people caught doing any harm to animals were severely punished during Tsunayoshi's enthroned period (there are some controversy about the truth of this history, but it's still believed by many people).

Yattarou has his moments. He may not be the brightest of the bunch but he doesn't seem to be the least serious and never neglects his duties.
