She has her calculator.  Smiley I'm not exactly sure what she's doing, the pose just kind of drew itself. I started with the calculator hand (which actually wasn't holding a calculator at first... that idea came later), worked up that arm, and made things up as I went.

When (if? hopefully...) additional progress gets made, I'll be sure to post it.

Thanks for letting me waste your time. Tongue

EDIT: Updated. Still not done obviously, but now you can ALMOST recognize her!

A fellow artist! Grin
Well... since it's a sketch, I don't have that much to say. But I like your style(I'm squinting at the screen) and I would like to see more of your work.

Thanks for all the comments. Speedy Wink

I'm thinking about changing her left foot (the one to our right) a little, as she kinds looks overly pigeon-toed as is... and someone else pointed out to me that perhaps her neck is a bit too long. If anyone else has any other suggestions before I get back to work on this, I'd be glad to hear them. Smiley

Actually, maybe her arms are a little long.  They look ok in that pose, but if they were that long and hanging strait down, her fingertips would be halfway down her shins.  It's really tricky to draw these "SD" type characters right.

Noted, thanks. And yes, proportions are tricky for SD/chibi characters, definitely. Grin

Impressive work, even for a sketch its still crisp and tight. I also like the general roundness of it all.

Thanks, glad you like it. Yeah, unless I'm specifically aiming not to, I tend to draw things pretty "rounded", Makes them look "alive" in a cartoonish sort of way, I think. And it's particularly fitting in this case, sine "Otama" can be translated as "Ball". Tongue And of course, it helps her look cute (not that she needs much help doing that, but it never hurts).

Anyway, I still haven't finished this up yet, unfortunately. Because of the changes I've wanted to make, I've tried to restart this piece from scratch a couple different times, but I haven't been able to come up with anything that really looks quite as right as the draft up there, despite its flaws. I'll be sure to post when I get any progress made!

Still haven't finished the Otama one yet... Yikes! but in the meantime, here's a rough quickie of an extra I caught in a screenshot earlier today who I found rather cute. It was from one of the clip shows, so there were only a few brief shots of her, and I had to make up a few of the missing details. It's quite likely that she shows up more in the original episode, and the rest of her design is shown, rendering this inaccurate. But meh.  Tongue

EDIT: Out of curiosity, I decded to watch the original episode ("Samurai Charm School"/"E!? Pururun no ojousama sengen"), and this particular extra doesn't get any more screen time there than she does in the clip show. So, unless any model sheets or production sketches or other behind-the-scenes stuff show up proving me wrong, I can say that this drawing is accurate.

Decided I would make this into a topic for my KNT/SPC fanart in general, so it can be posted in one convenient place.

A very cute cat animaloid indeed. I'm glad to see you extended the scope of this topic, so further works can be expected, I bet.

Just a doodle I did during class tonight. But remember kids, if you're going to doodle in class, make sure you have your homework done first. Grin

Oh, I'm intrigued. Grin
The final piece should be an eyeful.
I also agree with Threaux, that's a good angle to witness the special finisher in motion.
Looks good so far, bud. Smiley
