Just a comment, in the page 9 Yattarô asks Omitsu if he rather him in his normal self or as the leader of Nyankee...
Anyway I noticed that the japanese text says Nyanki Ichi Go instead Nyanki no RIDAA (Leader) that is the combat name of Yattarô (Sukashi is Nyanki Ni Go and Pururun is Nyanki San Go)

Anyway in the Tigriss page isn't romanized Tenka Muteki no Yattarô... I tried to do it using a dictionary, watching the japanese lyrics and listening the song a lot of times so I think I got it but was f*** hard...
Ok, let me get this straight:
There are three version of Speedy (Yattarô)? Himself as a cat, himself as the leader of hero, himself as a member of a team of hero's?

And the translation we refer to him as a cat and as the leader, but according to you it should be him as a cat and a member of team of hero's?

Until the last episode nodody knew the real name of the three Nyanii, hence each member was called only by numbers. When Nyankii weren't in combat, they were disguised as normal worker and weren't recognized by the citizens (kind a absurd, you know, like nodoby can figure out that Clark Kent is the Superman owing to a simple glasses).
In that context, there was a following love triangle: Yattarou loves Omitsu, that in her turn loves Nyankii #1. A broken triangle, since Omitsu didn't figure out the real identity of Nyankii #1, and she never showed for Yattarou more than simple friendship. However after the comet incident the identity was revealed by Pururun, and the manga is mentioning this fact.
By the way, it seems Souma doesn't like to develop a romantic pair Yattarou/Pururun, but prefers to keep the dispute between Yattarou/Sukashii for Omitsu's love. In my opinion Souma didn't agree with how the way the series ended.

Hmm~
I suppose whatever floats the dude's boat. They're his cats, so I suppose he could do with them as he wishes.
I can't say I agree with it. But on the flip side I guess he just wants something to laugh at.

Nice work on the translation as always, Daisensei.

BTW, in frame 3, was that the pre-battle line Pururun used in the KNT series?

In my opinion Souma didn't agree with how the way the series ended.

I didn't either, so this manga was basically a godsend for me.

Whine, whine, whine. At least it had a end  Speedy Wink beside being a speedy fan (I'm not a Yattarou fan) I loved Polly (God, I love her voice). Anyway, back to the editing table...

*** wonders where his editing table is
*** wonders since when he has an editing table

And another page edited. I also learned a new trick. In the same frame you should use the same font size. It looks calmer and less chaotic.

Oh and all praise Daisensei!!

Supposedly "yare yare" often translated as something along the lines of "oh brother", or "give me a break".

Nice work on the page editing!

Thanks, first time I think that I have done a moderately nice job (I'm way too hard on myself).

And I agree with your translation (and I will add it to my translation-document).
BUT.. what I want to know is: isn't "yare yare" the same as "yade yade"? Or is that the way how you pronounce it?

Eep! Looking at these pages, I can see my scans are craptastic... x_x

I'll have to see if I can do a rescan of the whole manga sometime...

Explain, since I don't think the scans are the problem.

Every picture does that at a certain size.
I would recommend using CDisplay or the internal ImageViewer of Windows XP since they use filters. IrfanView doesn't use it on png.

Anyway, if you're going to do a rescan do it as fast as possible because I have to redo all the editing. It is on my todo list, so I don't mind, but I prefer less work above a lot of work Speedy Wink

Erm, well in that case, I won't bother. If it's gonna be an extra load of work for both me and you, then I'll just reconsider.

Yes, it's the same of subbing work. The translation isn't literal though, but is the accepted one by the Project Dream.

Pardon, I didn't understand the expression "yade yade". Wouldn't be it "yada yada"?

No, you misunderstood me (I think). I'm planning on doing the entire thing again at a certain point, that's something I already have decided. I don't know when, but it's going to be before we have translated all the pages. But if you wait really long, I have done something like this.
1. Initial translation
2. Redoing the translation (correcting text, errors, making things nicer, etc)
3. Making a high quality version of the translation (your high-quality pictures are going to be redone again)

It would be far easier if we could combine point 2 and 3. And at the moment you can wait, if you want to since I'm not getting enough free time at the moment, but the faster, the better, I think.

And I agree with your translation (and I will add it to my translation-document).

Yep, sorry I wrote it wrong. My Japaneses is not that good (or good at all).
So... after reforming the question:
Isn't "Yada Yada" the same as "yare yare"? Or is that the way you pronounce it?

"yada yada" is quite different from "yare yare", it cames from "iya da" that means "I dislike" or "I don't want".

The Japanese name of Rude Noise is Yami no Yoninshuu. The Project Dream doesn't translated any episode with them, so I guess it's the first time "Yami no Yoninshuu" is being translated to English. If anybody has a better way to translate it (that sounds better, for example), please tell me.

Page 15
Frame 2
Yattarou   "Do"
Frame 3
Yattarou   "Dou shitandei Okara!"
EN      "What is going on, Okara?"
Yattarou (outside balloon)   "Karamaru ni ijimerareta ka?"
EN            "Was bullied by Karamru?"
Okara   "So sore ga......"
EN   "No, actually..."
Frame 4
Okara   "Karamarusa piza no haitatsu ni ittamama kaette konaindaa"
EN   "Karamarusa has left to deliver pizza, and he returns no more"
Frame 5
Yattarou's voice   "Karamaru gahh?"
EN         "Karamaru?"
Frame 6
Karamaru   "Hmmm"
Frame 7
Karamaru   "Hahh koko wahh!?"
EN      "Where am I?"
Sound of Karamaru rising   "Gabahh"
Frame 8
Zankaa      "Fuhh fuhh fuhh ki ga tsuita you da na Karamaru"
EN      "*laughs* It looks you are awake, Karamaru"
Frame 9
Karamaru   "Nani mono da kisamarahh!!"
EN      "Who are you?"
Karamaru (outside balloon)   "Mireba Karakara ichizoku no you da gahh"
EN            "Apparently you resemble Karakara ninjas."
Frame 10
Zankaa   "Yami no yoninshuu dahh!! Migoto ni wasuretenja nee!"
EN   "We are Quartet of the Darkness!! You has forgotten us completely!"
[Note: in Japanese Rude Noise is "Yami no yoninshuu"; the literal translation is "the group of four people of the darkness".]

"Quartet of Darkness" sounds good to me. It's nice and brief, and is quite accurate to the original Japanese.
