Ever since I started watching these four shows at once, I dreamed about doing a video game with all of them together.

It is basically a fighting/beat em' up game like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Gameplay is somewhat similar to Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Battle Stadium D.O.N. Characters basically fight until knocking opponents out ot the ring. However, the characters will also have specials when getting a certain amount of hits out of their opponents. When this happens, the character will start to glow and will unleash one of their special attacks. In addition to those, there will be a special item called "potential orbs" which when hit leads to the your character unleashing their most powerful attacks. There will also be an adventure mode where universes collide into a platforming/beat em' up type of gameplay.

I apoligize for the very little info at this time. More info will be posted later, but feel free to expand, help out, or change some things that you think will make this game better. (Note: I am only using these four anime. No DBZ, Bleach, One Piece etc. Otherwise, it may end up as a blood fest.)

Characters represented:

Kyattou Ninden Teyandee

1.) Yattarou
2.) Sukashii
3.) Pururun

Sailor Moon

1.) Sailor Moon
2.) Sailor Mercury
3.) Sailor Mars
4.) Sailor Jupiter
5.) Sailor Venus

Tokyo Mew Mew

1.) Mew Ichigo
2.) Mew Mint
3.) Mew Lettuce
4.) Mew Pudding
5.) Mew Zakuro

Naruto

1.) Naruto Uzumaki
2.) Sasuke Uchiha
3.) Sakura Haruno

This is based off of the japanese versions of every show. At this point, I'm still working it out.

Now the question is whether or not you have the programming skills to implement it.
And the artistic skills to create all the necessary assets. What did you have in mind graphic-wise? 2D or 3D?

Agree, indeed the code for a game like that won't be that much of a complex code in my opinion since the colissions and everything needed isn't very accurate but mostly based on a fast paced action with powerful attacks. While doing all the media would be much more problematic specially thinking about making all those characters clearly recognizables and with all the animations (either 2d or 3d) for every attack/special. The concept itself looks great, so keep it up  Smiley

As I said before it could be cool game, the tricky part will be the modelling but we dont know how fast/good can you model/rig/animate. I asume you are skilled since you are thinking about it this way.

Also I would suggest to add or at least replace in the beginning some characters, I mean, all your characters picked there are main characters, centers of their own stories, in this kind of games you have to let the players choose among some wide spectrum of background or evil characters, like say add Karamaru  Bad Bird  Cool and maybe Mojo Rojo / Rekkaa too

And Ruby!

True true  Cool, also it would be cool to see the screen fullfilled by some rockets if you add Lucille, we are not only seeing this from KNT perspective but I trully think some other characters fighting thru platforms are needed, think about Seymour Cheese fighting and exploding once he is defeated (and destroying or at least hurting survivors)  Shocked

And never forget to balance well characters, so no need for ultra powerful mega god (ala sentinel in that fan x-men vs street fighter someone made awhile back)

I was thinking about adding more characters (like Karamaru) for a possible sequel, but then again. Undecided As far as Seymour Cheese or anyone from the Rude Noise, I don't really think they'd be suitable fighters. I made add in Karamaru (Bad Bird) and maybe a ninja crow for KNT representitives, but as far as anyone else, they're either not cut out as playable characters, they may make cameo appearances in the background, or like  General Catton Bat Cat Spritz T. Cat and Meowsma O'Toole, summoning characters (like assist trophies). You guys can also pick out enemies to fight in adventure mode like ninja crows if you want.

Also, tell me who you would like to see as characters from Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, and/or Naruto in the game as either playable fighter, summoning characters, or cameo people in the background.

I think it's Jiraiya.

But anyways, you have the concept down, and probably the character models. But what about a soundtrack?

Yeah, I'm not sure about legendary sanins (like Jiraya) and I don't want to have too many characters in the first game. As far as soundtracks find tell me some songs from KNT, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Naruto you think would make great stage music. I'm already putting "Battle in Flash" and "Teyandee Special Express" in for KNT and "Sailor Stars" for Sailor Moon. Give me some more and I'll see what I can do.

He's just saying that he would like to see a girl from another anime in your game.

Anyways, There are plenty of good KNT music, but the best is to suit a game like this would be the background music.

If you mean Cardcaptor Sakura, I'm not so sure. I never watched that show before, but I don't really like it in English. The reason I'm adding these four anime, other than my fondness for them, is because they each have similar themes and entertainment. You can pretty much compare KNT with Naruto and Sailor Moon to Tokyo Mew Mew. But who knows, I may look into that show in japanese. But as far as other anime series, no.

You guys get to pick the music, stages, items, etc. to be in the game as long as they are not violent in anyway. Polly Wink

On the song subject, i like the idea of picking song's from the Anime. But... Personaly, i'd prefere the game to have an Original Soundtrack. You know, give it a bit of an Edge? Problem is, of course, finding someone to DO the music for you if you can't do it yourself. I would opt to do that work myself, considering im currently taking a course in Music and am going to be composing for a career- Specificly for games. But, not only do i have my own stuff to worry about, im not entirely sure what exactly you'd want me to do. Out of curiosity, if you DID want me to do original music for you, would you expect me to do a few covers/ ReMixes of certain song's from these Anime? (I used to watch Sailor Moon ages ago, but i never really listened to it's Music much. In fact, the only real music i know is the stuff from KNT.)
It's just an idea, though. Im not DEMANDING that you make me the games composer if you do not want me to be. If you are, however, interested, i can give you a sample of something i did for a personal project of my own...

Shameless self-promotion aside, i have to say this sounds pretty promising... Even though i never was a Fan of Naruto myself (Let us all blame the awful dub for that one, kids. 'Belive It!!' Indeed...) Im still greatly looking foward to the result, however long it might take =)
