what was i thinking, putting the topic somwhere you can say #%$@ and everything, with a user named Werewolf, who is a cartoon and spc hater (i found that out when he nearly killed me for posting spc vids on the chat box and using the jon tailbain sprite on the chat box he would mostly use).

Quote
WereWolf: I hope it's dying....worthless life sucking hydra....

He was talking about TV in general with that quote, not cartoons or SPC. Also, don't forget TV is just one of many different mediums people use for entertainment, so just because someone wants TV to die doesn't mean they don't wanna watch anymore shows especially now that we have internet and DVD. I too think TV has become so terribly bland it needs to die off. These days I don't even watch TV anymore, I watch all my favorite shows over the internet, and many of today's shows are becoming more and more webcasted. I'm sure eventually internet will replace TV entirely.

yea, people should watch tv with their fatass on their couch, not on a office chair, but back in i think 2002, i saw a big flat computer or somthing on the wall of some tech store, you control the with this remote and you can just relax on the couch, at least i think it was a computer, any ways, back to cartoons

Nickelodeon sucks.

So does Cartoon Network now that it's become a Nickelodeon clone.

I will agree with Cartoon Network sucking.

I also agree that, as a channel, Nickelodeon sucks somewhat. However, looking past the Zoey 101's and ICarly's and other nonsense aimed at 13 year-old girls and effeminate boys, there are some shows that still make it worth it. For example, I recently started watching El Tigre on youtube. At first I though it was stupid, and a little racist. But when I got into it, holy crap, I couldn't stop laughing. Avatar also makes the channel bearable to watch. Sure, people complain about how it's trying to imitate anime, but I look past that and focus on the entertainment factor. I like the show, the story and it's characters.

However, Nick Jr can still burn in hell for all I care. I actually sat down with my niece one morning to watch it, and I think I got dumber.

especially with that paper cut animation that wonder pets and pinky dinky doo used, when I saw the gameboy parody near the end was buttons on a piece of bread (I'm not kidding, it was a gamebread) I was nearly laughing my ass off on how stupid it was, do they think showing a game boy on an edu cartoon would scar children for life

"On that instance of innuendo that would never make it past the FCC, our hero allowed himself to be hooked up to a scary machine."

Just a line I wrote for one of my stories.  Thought you'd like to hear it.

And for that I'd say about 5 of your Polly Points have meaning. You're halfway there; keep it up!!!

I guess the term: "Blame the Liberals" is funnier to a Canadian, because of our Liberal party.

I'm always calling Stephane Dion "Kermit the Frog".  Grin

Cause that guy is just a puppet. and french.

Just reading the comments about nick jr shows is cracking me up because it's so true. It's actually GrilledCheeseGameBread, but you were close enough, haha.

PinkyDinkyDoo and the Wonder Pets are terribly annoying. At least Yo Gabba Gabba has you confused and laughing most of the time.

IT IS THE PAINTER! THE ONE PREDICTED TO CHANGE THE ENTIRE FOREST!  Shocked Shocked Shocked Cheesy.

And then there was "How can I be talking to a beaver?" I would probably overdose before I get to that point.

Very screwed up, indeed. Yet, considering it is from the 80s, I forgive it.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4YSVms48zs" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4YSVms48zs</a>

Holy crap, I remember this movie! O_O

It just seemed like one of those obscure cartoon movies that I'd never expected to see again, until now...

Let's see, without even looking at any of the later parts, hmmm..... ::digs in his memory:: I remember this cute fox chick, I remember the painter trying to open the portcullis to some castle with his magic paint and having a bit of a hard time with it, and I remember how he 'defeated' the villain by pouring paint or some kinda potion down his throat and he all of a sudden turns good.

Seriously, this is all from faded memories when I was like 5, I've only seen part 1 as of this writing. Let's see how well I remember.

I'll report back to you guys. ::goes Youtubing::

Welp, I just watched all of Elm-Chanted Forest and it was one heck of a trip down memory lane. My memories of this movie are so distant and buried I didn't even remember having ever seen it until Pizza Zero posted it. It must've been at least 20 years since I last saw it.

Fifi is hot, Buddy is the kind of sports jock most people should avoid, cacti can be very fruity especially when they hate beaver *wink wink* and I just found that painting is as awesome as trippy movies on acid, with or without magic.

I was intrigued to find it was produced by a Croatian studio, and through looking around on Youtube I'm even more intrigued to find they even made a sequel, though sadly it's only in Croatian as they never made an English version.

The 80's were good times for fantasy movies...
