I'm crossing my fingers for "The Lost Tales of Sparky-Sparky Boom Man".
Yes! I would watch that in an instant!

I still remember the first time I saw that guy attack the main group. Sure, there have been characters that exhibit advanced bending techniques before; but with each one we saw a gradual evolution of their techniques and the logic behind them. Example: Blood Bending. It's a form of water bending. Then we see that water is inside things such as vines in a swamp and thus the vines can be controlled. Then we saw how a persons sweat could be effectively collected to control. We we're reminded that water is inside people as well; furthermore, not just in our sweat but in our blood. So a person's body could be moved by bending the blood inside them. So that's Blood Bending. But what Combustion Man did, came outta nowhere. I nearly fell out of my seat when it happened. Like: "Holy sh*t!!! WTF was THAT!!?" I never expected to see anything like it coming from Avatar. The general concept isn't completely original. Someone blowing sh*t up with their mind is more like something out of Fullmetal Alchemist. But the visual (and astounding audio) effect of the attack is mind blowing. Something that emits a sonic boom is exceptionally more alien in a world like Avatar's.

Such a shame he never came back...

Such a shame he never came back... It's, like, the only time we see someone die in the show.

Pheh, technicalities. What a twist it would have been if Aang had died...period.

that's because they don't want to show people running around engulfed in flames in a pg-rated animated series.
you do, however, see multiple people in the series with burn injuries, or burned clothing.
there's a scene where Aang is falling out of a ball of fire from the sky in the final combat, and the fire is burning his clothes off...but i couldn't get a screenshot, so i'll just leave you with this.

Yeah, I tried remembering if it ever showed anyone actually being inflicted (on screen) with a fire-type injury. The closest we get is right before Ozai gives Zuko his scar in the flashback of awesomeness...

Okay, guess it's time to put my blood thirsty rants to rest. I am getting nit-picky with my objections. The show excels more than others with the mature themes it tries within it's target audience. I actually thought Zucko's injury was a bit gruesome when he was introduced.
Ah... Iroh. The disco inferno himself.
Who the hell is Zucko? Sounds like a Jam and Jelly type company. Don't remember that from the series. ~Darc

It was a typo. "c" is so close to "k".
Well it's forever immortalized in forum history as being the Jam and Jelly guy. Instead of him having a deep, rich background with awesome character development (plus a wicked scar). He is.. The Jelly guy... I am disappoint. Way to ruin his image. ~Darc
